Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started working professionally in the teen years at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she won an Barrymore Award nomination. Molly reprised the role when Molly made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also on the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. In 2008, she received her B.A. from Princeton University. She graduated in 2008 with a B.A. When she was in the college, she made her acting debut as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Her career path continued following leaving college with various Off Broadway plays, among the most notable was End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked for a television show as a character in Royal Pains as well as an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in a variety of regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and the Westport Country Playhouse's production of The Diary of Anne Frank. She played Anne. Molly was best known as Ali on the television show Paranormal Activity 2 and for the ABC Comedy Last Man Standing written by Jack Burditt, starring Tim Allen.
