Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location to Dix Hills on Long Island shortly before finishing her junior year. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger brother. From the age of nine until 16, she began working in the entertainment business via acting. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among those actors who've received similar training. Her first role was in Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move in Los Angeles. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a talented actor. Her agent also manages Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
